it seems a little lost to us…………the first centuries Church couldn’t figure out what to do with the gentiles (acts 15)……we today, don’t know (or really care) about what to do with the Jew…….I know even as a Jew I was totally immersed in replacement theology (I just thought was just conventional thinking; I didn’t know it was a theology)……..’what advantage the Jew?’; “beats me” I thought…….and still lack much clarity. I’m pretty sure it’s not a bunch of gentiles dancing around with Jewish garb, etc…….but what is this ‘mystery of Jew and gentile fellowshipping together; ‘one new man’ (ephesians 3)……so for a little dialogue I offer up my first, weak attempt at a perspective (or introduction) on the word of God: In your hands is an invitation to what could be an adventure at times, a challenge at others……..sometimes welcoming; sometimes threatening………sounds, tastes, fragrances and experiences that may seem foreign, but will become familiar with time. Combined with your heart and Spirit and seasoned with the word of God, you will be ushered into a life style filled with promise and revelation, and an increased level of intimacy and love of the Man Who has betrothed us to Himself and is coming for us in ‘the twinkling of an eye’……..here is His story and ours worked out in a path through life created by the biblical feasts and thinking…………..so come now, the invitation is for you and your household.
