isn’t awesome that Jesus doesn’t save us just because our lives are pathetic or needy…………or broken or whatever…..and once we are saved with our weak ‘yes’ and injured lives, i bet He doesn’t just wait for us to come crawling to Him with our guilty consciences once a day, week, month, etc. after having poured out our passions inappropriately or destructively or just wastefully…….i’m so glad that He has more in mind for us than that! He created us with passions……..He made us for His pleasure and our passions were made to give us pleasure, in Him (and if not in other things). can you imagine what it would be like to be given fully; 100% to Him, with all of our passions: mind, will emotions, all that we have, all that we are! what if He didn’t want to just forgive our sin, but to obliterate it and stand before Him all the days of our lives as a priest (not out of religious boring duty, but passionately doing it)….if you find yourself in an atmosphere that either allows you to justify or excuse your sin, then maybe you are missing the reality of what He has in mind for you. if grace is just a reason to feel better about you sin, then maybe you aren’t experiencing grace at all (when grace was meant to empower you to live a fulfilled, on fire, holy life)……find those that believe more for you and more of Him; you are the reward of His suffering; think about it, He did what He did so He could take pleasure in who you were meant to be; not so He could feel bad for you or just forgive you constantly…………sure you might trip and fall at times……….but trip running toward Him, not away from Him! this week end i heard davy flowers say that grace is your 100% for His 100%, trust me that’s a smoken’ deal!
